Dozens injured in train accident in Chicago

Dozens of people were injured in Chicago today when a passenger train collided with a railroad snowplow that was on the same track.

Local authorities say 38 people, mostly passengers, were injured. Of these, 23 people are in the hospital, and two or three are seriously injured, but no one’s life is in danger, Keith Gray, an official of the Rescue Service, told reporters.

The investigation determined that the local train was traveling at a normal speed, and it is being investigated how it was on the same track as the snow blower.
