A man is being sought after a series of shootings across Memphis, Tennessee, that left four women dead and one in critical condition Saturday night, police said.
The police received a report about the shooting around 9:22 p.m., and the investigation determined that this scene and two other recent shootings were connected and that it was the same suspect.
Police named 52-year-old Mavis Christian Jr. as a suspect. He is believed to be driving a white 2017 Chevrolet Malibu, it was announced.
“If you see him or his vehicle, call 911 immediately,” police said in a press release and advised not to approach this person because he is armed and “extremely dangerous.”
The shooting is being investigated as a domestic violence incident, the statement added.
