At least 13,000 Palestinians have been killed and 30,000 injured in Gaza since the beginning of the conflict on October 7 between Israel and Hamas, the media office of the Government in Gaza announced.
Among the dead were at least 5,500 children and 3,500 women.
The Health Ministry in Gaza, which is run by Hamas, also announced that a total of 13,000 Palestinians have been killed since the conflict began.
WHO confirmed that 31 babies were evacuated from Shifa Hospital
Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus confirmed that 31 “very sick babies” were evacuated from Shifa Hospital, along with six health workers and 10 family members.
Gebrejesus also stated that further evacuation missions for the remaining patients and staff are being planned, until safe passage is guaranteed.
