In the Russian rocket shelling of Kherson today, five people were injured, including a three-year-old girl, announced Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klimenko.

“All of them received shrapnel wounds.” Granddaughter and grandmother were injured while they were in their yard. Enemy artillery hit them near the entrance,” Klimenko wrote on Telegram, the Guardian reports.

The Ukrainian authorities also announced today that two people were killed and at least seven people were injured in last night’s Russian missile attacks on the southeastern region.

The attacks came after Kiev’s air force said Russia had fired 38 drones into its territory overnight – the highest number reported in more than six weeks.
